Since 2021, I have followed the most intense migratory routes across Mexico—Tijuana, Ciudad Juárez, Tapachula, and the State of Mexico—to document the challenges and hopes of those who leave their homes behind. My photographic approach is rooted in respect, listening, and closeness. I focus not only on the journey, but on the pauses: the shelters, the wounds, the invisible borders, and the everyday acts that sustain life amid displacement.
This work seeks to counter simplified narratives about migration by revealing its human, intimate, and political dimensions. I have documented stories marked by violence, drug trafficking, and climate crisis—but also by dignity, faith, and the bonds forged along the way.
Through my lens, I aim for each image to reflect the complexity of this global phenomenon—making visible what is often left on the margins.
